Speedy deletion, why?
[edit]This article is about a charity, not a club. There are many articles about charities on Wikipedia, so i dont see why this one should be deleted. AlmightyClam 13:58, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- I have added a bit to the article to help assert significance. The question here is whether this particular charity meets the notability guidelines for organizations. It would be helpful in establishing that if you could provide more reliable sources, distinct from the charity's own publications and press releases, for verification. While I feel the article no longer meets the speedy criterion, it may still be reviewed for deletion by other processes. If you have questions about this, please let me know at my talk page or ask at Wikipedia's help desk. And if I'm wikilinking to a bunch of policies you already know, please forgive me. :) I prefer to be as complete as possible since I don't know your degree of familiarity with Wikipedia...even though the formatting of your username rather suggests you've been here a while. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:18, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- Right. I more or less understand now. Oh, and i haven't actually been here that long, I just found out how to do that pretty quickly. AlmightyClam 17:14, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
- More like an advert than an encyclopaedic description:::::: —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.140.128.134 (talk) 17:27, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
- The entire article reads and looks like a cut-and-paste advertising job. The evidence, some of which I just fixed, is the strange syntax and odd characters used in place of bullets — just the sort of thing one gets when copying from certain Web sites and online magazine articles. — QuicksilverT @ 06:00, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
